Wrapper: Dominican (Criollo)
Binder: Mexican San Andres
Filler: Dominican
Profile: Medium +
Vicente Blends approaches cigars from the ultra premium end of the spectrum, using top tier tobacco and old world rolling techniques to create blends with a distinctly polished character. The Sleek collection takes the same attention to tobacco and craftsmanship found throughout Vicente's premium portfolio and channels it into three individual expressions.
Sleek Gold takes a softer, more nuanced route than its darker counterpart. A Dominican Criollo wrapper sits over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican fillers, an interesting combination that lets the lighter qualities of the Criollo play against the deeper character of San Andrés underneath. The result lands comfortably in the medium plus range with enough body to remain engaging without overpowering the blend.
The flavor profile is where Gold earns its name. Marshmallow, butter, and hazelnut give the cigar a creamy, almost dessert like quality, with the Dominican tobacco keeping everything balanced and composed. It's an unusual combination of flavors that separates Sleek Gold from more traditional medium to full bodied blends.
Whether it's being lit for an occasion or simply because the day calls for something a little more interesting, Sleek Gold brings a different personality to the Vicente lineup, creamy, refined, and unmistakably its own.
