1924 Double Black Red Blend 2024 is a full-bodied California red blend from Lodi, made with fruit selected from vineyards across Northern California. Warm afternoons and cooling Pacific-influenced nights help build concentrated flavor, while the 2024 Limited Edition bottle presents the wine at 15% ABV.
The aroma layers blackberry, mocha, caramel, and vanilla. On the palate, plum and dark chocolate meet toasted marshmallow and allspice, creating a dark, generous profile with a smooth, lingering finish. The balance of ripe fruit, oak-toned richness, and baking spice gives this blend its Double Black character.
Pour it at a cool room temperature and allow a little air in the glass before serving. The producer suggests charbroiled burgers, spicy sausage gumbo, or barbecue pork ribs as suitably bold pairings. Each 750ml bottle carries the 2024 vintage, Lodi designation, and the concentrated style that defines the 1924 range.
