Privada Storytelling
The Enclave Broadleaf is where AJ Fernandez flexes his legacy in the maduro world. This isn’t just another Connecticut Broadleaf cigar—it’s AJ’s take, and that means bolder, darker, and fuller. Built from the ground up with potent Nicaraguan guts and capped with a thick, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Enclave Broadleaf is for those who want their cigars with grit, depth, and balance. Every puff speaks of heritage—the Estelí soil, the midnight fermentation rooms, the passion that drives every stick out of Tabacalera AJ. In Privada, this is your fireside war club. It’s what you light when the day’s done, the glass is full, and the world quiets down. It’s big. It’s brooding. It’s beautiful.
Flavor Journey
-
First third: Fires up with espresso, pepper, and blackened oak. Leather and cocoa ride in next, framing the smoke with strength and structure.
-
Mid-smoke: Complexity expands with molasses, anise, and black cherry—dark fruit meets spice on a bed of earthy richness.
-
Final third: Bold and grounded. Espresso and dark chocolate return with a smoky bite, ending on charred wood and long, peppered warmth.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Some cigars just hit with purpose. Enclave Broadleaf does exactly that—it’s heavy without being clumsy, flavorful without being showy, and handcrafted with intention. The kind of cigar you feel while you’re smoking. AJ doesn’t just make cigars; he makes statements, and this one says: “you’ve earned this.” For Privada, it’s a quintessential nightcap—bold, rugged, satisfying, and a true benchmark of modern Broadleaf blending.
