Three Cuts Pinot Barrel Rested Gin hails from the pristine landscapes of Tasmania, Australia. The gin is crafted with a blend of traditional botanicals, including juniper, coriander, and angelica root, alongside local Tasmanian pepperberry and lemon myrtle. This unique combination is then aged in Pinot Noir barrels from renowned local wineries, imbuing the gin with a distinctive character.
On the palate, this gin offers a complex profile with a harmonious blend of juniper and citrus notes, complemented by the subtle sweetness and delicate tannins imparted by the wine barrels. Hints of red berries and spice linger, creating a smooth and balanced finish that is both refreshing and refined. The barrel aging process adds depth and a slightly pink hue to the gin, enhancing its visual appeal.
Three Cuts Pinot Barrel Rested Gin is best enjoyed neat or over ice to fully appreciate its intricate flavors. It also makes an exceptional base for a classic martini or a sophisticated gin and tonic, where the nuances of the barrel aging can shine through. With an alcohol content of 40%, this gin offers a well-rounded and memorable drinking experience.
