The Macallan 30 Years Old Sherry Oak is one of the oldest whiskies in the distillery's Sherry Oak range. This Speyside single malt spends three full decades in oak casks seasoned with sherry. Each cask is hand-picked and seasoned in Jerez, Spain, before it ever reaches Scotland. The whisky is made from 100% malted barley using traditional distillation, then bottled at 43% ABV.
All those years in sherry oak give it the richest natural color of the Sherry Oak line. In the glass it glows a dark, deep mahogany. No color is added, so what you see comes straight from the wood.
