The Foxtale Melon Gin is a flavored craft spirit produced by The Foxtale Company in Northern Portugal. Distilled using traditional copper pot stills, this expression infuses a classic juniper base with the natural essence of ripe melon. The resulting gin offers a sweet, fruity, and highly refreshing profile that balances juicy melon notes with dry gin botanicals.
Food Pairing: Fresh prosciutto-wrapped melon slices, goat cheese crostini, cured ham (jamón ibérico), fruit tarts, and light summer salads.
Tasting Notes: Delicate pastel light green in appearance with a smooth, juicy, and soft mouthfeel.
Nose: Intensely aromatic up front with sweet notes of ripe honeydew and cantaloupe melon, supported by subtle piney juniper and fresh citrus zest.
Palate: Fruity and approachable, featuring a prominent burst of juicy melon sweetness balanced by a underlying core of dry juniper, coriander spice, and earthy botanicals.
Finish: Medium in length, crisp, and refreshing with lingering sweet melon fruitiness and a gentle pine warmth.
Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium tonic water or lemonade, garnished with a melon ball or a slice of lime, or use as a playful, fruity base in a summer Spritz.
