Introduction:
Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey is a premium blended whiskey crafted with a unique approach that challenges conventional expectations of Irish whiskey. This whiskey is made by marrying grain and malt whiskey that have been fully aged in Ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished in Central American Rum casks for up to 12 months, resulting in a distinctive dried fruit profile. With a 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, this whiskey offers an abundance of natural character.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Floral with vanilla sweetness, rum-raisin notes, and a touch of allspice.
- Palate: Creamy with dried fruits, raisins, apricots, and a hint of warming spice.
- Finish: Long, warming finish with lingering oak and spice.
Pairing Suggestions:
This whiskey pairs beautifully with spicy foods, grilled meats, or barbecue dishes. It’s also excellent with cheddar cheese or served alongside dark chocolate and dried fruits.
