Tanqueray No. TEN is a world-renowned super-premium London Dry style gin produced by Cameronbridge Distillery in Scotland for Diageo. Launched in 2000 and named after "Tiny Ten," the historic copper pot still (Still No. 10) in which it is distilled, this expression revolutionized the gin category by incorporating whole fresh citrus fruits—white grapefruits, limes, and oranges—directly into the distillation alongside traditional botanicals. The result is an exceptionally smooth, citrus-forward, and sophisticated spirit that stands as a benchmark for modern craft cocktails.
Food Pairing: Fresh oysters, smoked salmon blinis, goat cheese crostini, lemon-herb roasted chicken, and delicate seafood crudo.
Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with an exceptionally smooth, rich, and velvety mouthfeel.
Nose: Vibrant and bursting with fresh citrus up front, highlighting bright white grapefruit, zesty lime, and sweet orange, beautifully anchored by piney juniper, subtle chamomile, and delicate floral blossoms.
Palate: Remarkably balanced and complex, presenting a rich wave of juicy citrus oils and resinous pine juniper, followed by delicate floral chamomile, spicy coriander, and subtle earthy angelica root.
Finish: Long, smooth, and clean with lingering notes of crisp grapefruit zest, gentle pine warmth, and a soft, elegant floral trail.
Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium Indian tonic water, garnished with a slice of fresh pink grapefruit, or build into an exceptional Martini, French 75, or Negroni.
