Stoller Reserve Chardonnay 2019 is a refined and expressive Oregon white wine, showcasing the elegance of Dundee Hills terroir. It pours a pale golden hue and opens with inviting aromas of fresh apple, lemon zest, and ripe pear, layered with subtle notes of toasted hazelnut, butter, and delicate oak spice. On the palate, it delivers a medium- to full-bodied profile with vibrant citrus and orchard fruit flavors, complemented by a creamy texture and well-integrated oak influence. A balanced acidity lifts the wine, leading to a smooth, nuanced finish with lingering hints of caramel and toasted nuts.
Food Pairing: Roast chicken with herbs, buttery lobster, seared scallops, creamy pasta dishes, or mushroom risotto.
2019 Vintage Ratings
92 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This estate grown barrel and block selection deftly mixes the lively acidity of the citrus and apple flavored fruit with a leavening influence from aging in 20% new oak. It has been smoothed out a bit and is beginning to show highlights of toast, butter, hazelnuts and caramel. Another couple of years of bottle age is recommended.
