Upgrade your single-dose grinder with a set of SSP 64mm flat burrs, precision engineered and CNC milled from tool steel by Sung Sim Precision (SSP) — a family-owned Korean manufacturer that has specialized in flat burr design since 1991. With six geometry options and two coatings to choose from, this is the widest set of 64mm burr choices SSP makes, covering everything from high-uniformity espresso to full multi-purpose brewing.
Why upgrade to SSP burrs
- Six geometry options: Espresso / High-Uniformity for balanced, uniform espresso shots; Multi-Purpose V2 (Unimodal Espresso) and Multi-Purpose V3 for switching between espresso and filter; Brew / Unimodal MPV1 for filter-focused grinding; and 'Lab Sweet' (Cast) V2/V3 for extra sweetness and clarity in the cup.
- Two coating options: choose Red Speed (TiAlCN — Titanium Aluminium Carbon Nitride) for a slightly higher friction coefficient favoured for espresso, or Silver Knight (DLC — Diamond-like Carbon) for filter/bulk grinding with subtly lower fines production and enhanced clarity in the cup.
- Built to last: both coatings increase surface hardness and reduce heat transfer during grinding, extending burr lifespan — SSP rates these burrs for up to 5,000kg of coffee.
- Broad compatibility: fits Option-O Lagom P64, Mazzer, Ceado, and other 64mm-format grinders.
Every set is made in South Korea to SSP's exacting tolerances, so you get the same particle size distribution and grind uniformity that has made SSP burrs a favourite among specialty coffee professionals worldwide.
