Salon Cuvée S Blanc de Blancs Brut | 750ml | 12% ABV | Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne
There are prestige Champagnes, and then there is Salon. Produced only in exceptional vintages — roughly 37 times since 1905 — this is the purest expression of Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger on the Côte des Blancs. One grape, one cru, one vintage. No compromise.
The nose dazzles with citrus blossom, white peach, toasted almond, and chalky minerality that speaks of its Grand Cru terroir. On the palate, an extraordinary tension between creamy mousse and razor-sharp acidity carries flavours of brioche, lemon curd, and wet stone into a seemingly endless finish. This is Champagne for contemplation — every sip reveals a new layer.
A true collector's wine and one of the finest investments in the world of sparkling wine. Each bottle represents decades of patience from one of Champagne's most uncompromising houses.
Pair with: Fresh oysters, seared Hokkaido scallops, or aged Comté cheese.
Available at Franco's Kelowna with free next-day delivery.
