The Rocky Patel Bold, sold as Bold by Nish Patel, is the cigar Rocky's younger brother spent five years building. Released in 2013 as his second namesake blend after the Xen, it lives up to the name with big, rich flavor from an aged Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and an unusual double binder.
The aged Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers a double binder — one leaf of Mexican San Andrés, one of Connecticut — over all-Nicaraguan filler from Jalapa and Estelí. Running two binders from two countries is unusual, and it's a big part of what gives the Bold its weight and layered flavor. Rolled at the TAVICUSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The profile leads with cracked pepper and cocoa, then settles into dark chocolate, roasted coffee, sweet spice, and cinnamon, with a black cherry sweetness in the first half. The aged Broadleaf adds depth, and the flavor stays rich from light to nub. Medium to full.

Choosing Your Size
Robusto (5.5x50) — The most concentrated and the quickest into the pepper-and-cocoa core.
Toro (6.5x52) — The balanced middle, with room for the coffee and cinnamon to develop.
Torpedo (6 1/8x52) — The tapered head focuses the smoke and sharpens the pepper early.
Sixty (6x60) — The widest ring and the fullest, slowest smoke. The dark chocolate comes forward.
