Propper Starter Concentrated Wort provides a fast, consistent way to prepare healthy yeast starters without measuring, boiling, or cooling dry malt extract. Each 16-ounce can creates one liter of starter wort when mixed with an equal amount of purified water, giving homebrewers a simple solution for propagating yeast before fermentation.
Formulated with balanced fermentable sugars and nutrients, Propper Starter supports healthy yeast growth and increased cell counts prior to pitching. It is especially useful when brewing lagers, high-gravity beers, or when revitalizing older liquid yeast cultures. The consistent formulation helps eliminate the variability that can occur when preparing starter wort manually while providing an ideal environment for yeast propagation.
Each can is shelf stable until opened and is designed to replace traditional dry malt extract for making yeast starters. Simply combine one can with 16 ounces of clean water, aerate the starter, and pitch your yeast using standard starter procedures. Additional starter steps can be performed when larger yeast populations are required.
Propper Starter Concentrated Wort is an excellent choice for homebrewers looking for a convenient, repeatable way to build healthy yeast before brew day. Its ready-to-use format simplifies yeast starter preparation while supporting consistent fermentation across virtually any beer style.
