Experience the vibrant essence of California citrus with Oro Y Fierro Kumquat Liqueur, a handcrafted spirit that celebrates the unique character of fresh kumquats. Made in small batches using fruit sourced from California's finest orchards, this exceptional liqueur captures the sweet-tart complexity of whole kumquats—peel, pulp, and all.
Unlike traditional citrus, kumquats are eaten whole, with the sweet, fragrant peel balancing the tart flesh inside. Oro Y Fierro harnesses this unique duality, creating a liqueur with remarkable depth: bright citrus acidity, aromatic peel oils, and natural sweetness all in perfect harmony.
The liqueur presents a brilliant golden-orange hue that captures the warmth of California sunshine. On the nose, intense citrus aromatics burst forth—fresh kumquat peel, orange blossom, and subtle honey notes create an inviting bouquet.
The palate delivers layers of flavor: bright, tart citrus opens with kumquat's signature sweet-sour balance, followed by aromatic peel oils that add complexity and depth. Natural sweetness rounds out the profile without overwhelming the fruit's authentic character, while a whisper of bitter citrus pith adds sophistication.
The finish is clean and refreshing with lingering citrus oils and a pleasant tartness that invites the next sip.
