Tasting notes: Grapefruit, brown sugar, kumquat and mulling spice
This AA lot comes from the Kamunyaka washing station within the Iria-Ini Farmers Cooperative Society in Kenya’s central highlands. The station serves smallholder farms around 1,700-1,800 metres and has renewed its focus on careful processing and cup quality.
SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian cherries are dry fermented, channel washed and dried on raised beds. Onyx classifies the roast as moderate and recommends the coffee for both filter and espresso.
