The Oliva Serie V Double Robusto is a standout vitola format within the famed Serie V collection, expertly striking a balance between stocky proportions and full-bodied Nicaraguan power. Measuring 5 inches with an expanded 54 ring gauge, this Double Robusto allows for an increased volume of rich interior Jalapa Valley Ligero tobaccos. This broader profile amplifies the dense, velvety smoke output while maintaining exceptional harmony with the oily, sun-grown exterior leaf.
The structural and tobacco specifications of this exact vitola are engineered to produce a slow, cool burn and generous smoke volume across a 50-to-65-minute tasting session. Encased in an oily, sun-grown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, the cigar uses a sturdy Nicaraguan binder to contain an aged core of Nicaraguan Jalapa Valley Ligero long-fillers. Hand-rolled at the famed TABOLISA facility in Estelí, this 5″ x 54 Double Robusto format guarantees high structural integrity, an effortless draw, a sharp burn line, and an evolving succession of deep, complex flavours.
