The Cuba Aliados brand is back in the spotlight with a modern twist, thanks to the Oliva Cigar Company and master blender Julio Eiroa. This updated release—part of the Cuba Aliados original blend—is a Honduran puro that blends tradition with precision. Crafted with 100% Honduran tobacco, the construction is solid, the roll is attractive, and the burn line stays impressively even throughout the smoke.
From the cold draw, you’ll pick up dusty earth tones leading into a smooth experience with rich notes of chocolate, leather, dry wood, and slightly black pepper spice. Each puff delivers a good amount of flavor, revealing the cigar’s thoughtful combination of strength and balance. The aroma is bold yet welcoming—perfect for a relaxing evening or casual celebration.
Available in standout sizes like the original blend Robusto (5x50) and Regordo (6x60), this medium-bodied cigar offers a 45–65 minute session with consistent quality. Though this line is crafted in Honduras, fans of the Ernest Perez Carillo edition—produced in the Dominican Republic—will appreciate the shared legacy and craftsmanship behind each cigar.
Whether you're new to the market or a long-time fan, this cigar is a worthy purchase. It’s a respectful nod to tradition with just the right amount of innovation. Oliva’s revival of the Cuba Aliados brand proves that some classics are truly timeless.
