This Old Forester single barrel selection pays homage to the brand's storied legacy while presenting a unique flavor journey. This selection, named in honor of our community's heads-up advantage, allows premium members first access to its exquisite profile. Hence, the "Member's Frontier" name.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: A symphony of figs, cherries, and caramel intertwined with subtle maple syrup and nutmeg notes.
- Palate: The richness of figs and cherries continues, joined by apricot undertones and a hint of vanilla bean, all balanced by a pleasantly mild oakiness.
- Finish: Offers a satisfying medium to long duration.
This barrel, a testament to Old Forester's commitment to quality since 1870, is more than just whiskey; it's a piece of history. This selection embodies the brand's tradition with a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, aged meticulously in charred oak barrels. It delivers a taste experience as if poured directly from the barrel – rich, authentic, and unadulterated.
