The Nuova Simonelli MDJ On-Demand is a professional-grade, medium-to-high volume grinder built for speed, precision, and quiet performance. Designed with barista workflow in mind, it combines powerful grinding technology with modern digital controls, making it an ideal choice for busy cafés or high-end coffee programs.
The MDJ features a new touch-screen interface with expanded programming options, including stop & go, barista mode, continuous delivery, and dosing counters. Dose settings can be adjusted instantly, giving baristas full control without interrupting service. Its doserless design ensures every shot is ground fresh, directly into the portafilter, hands-free.
Inside, 75mm flat carbon steel burrs deliver exceptional grind speed and consistency, capable of processing a single shot in just four seconds. The clump crusher system guarantees fluffy, uniform grounds with no static, while the redesigned stainless steel dispensing nozzle is easy to remove and clean. A suspension-mounted 750W motor provides stable torque with significantly reduced noise, ensuring smooth operation even under heavy use.
Additional refinements include micrometric grind adjustment for precision dialing, an integrated LED work light for visibility in any setting, and a large 1.6kg hopper with a shutoff gate for mess-free removal and cleaning. Available in Sharp Black, Pure White, or NS Red finishes, the MDJ combines sleek Italian design with uncompromising performance.
