Privada Storytelling
A Floral Name for a Bold Bloom
Bluebonnets might sound delicate, but this blend is anything but timid. Named after the Texas state flower, this cigar captures both the brightness and wildness of spring bursting through concrete. Noel Rojas once again works his small-ring gauge magic with a Lonsdale built to deliver precision and layered flavor.
The Corojo wrapper brings natural oil, spice, and balance. You’ll start with a burst of red pepper and honeyed cedar, then drift into toasted nuts, dried flowers, and citrus peel. As the burn progresses, cinnamon and nutmeg settle into a smooth, grounded finale. It’s floral only in name—on the palate, this is bold boutique artistry.
Flavor Journey
The first third delivers red pepper, honey, and light hay
The second third reveals floral citrus, cedar, and almond
The final third closes with cinnamon, toasted spice, and a dry earthy sweetness
Draw is razor tight with early focus, then opens into elegant flow. Burn stays even. Smoke is fragrant, medium-bodied, and evolves slowly.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Bluebonnets reflects Noel Rojas’ ability to bring nuanced complexity to smaller vitolas. It’s not just another Corojo—it’s a controlled burst of flavor dressed in a name that keeps you guessing. This cigar belongs in Privada because it invites the curious and rewards the experienced.
This isn’t just a flower—it’s fire beneath the bloom.
