Produced from the best, estate grown Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and small amounts of Syrah. Vinified using the estate’s ancestral techniques – grape bunches are hand-picked, foot-trodden, and fermented in open stone lagares, after which the wine is aged in a combination of new and old French oak barriques for 24 months. This wine is deeply coloured and aromatic, intense but structured, complex and full of personality.
92 Points - Robert Parker
Intense grenade color and aromas of black fruit, plum jam, mint, spices and typical floral notes of violets and white flowers from Touriga Nacional. Very balanced and rich, reveals a surprising freshness, good structure, lush, firm tannins, which ensures its longevity.
