Metaxa Amphora 7 Star
Metaxa Amphora 7 Star is a premium Greek brandy from the renowned Metaxa distillery, known for its rich history and craftsmanship.
The 7 Star designation refers to the brandy’s smooth ageing process. Combining aged brandy with a unique blend of muscat wine and Mediterranean botanicals. The result is a refined, complex spirit with rich flavours of dried fruit, spice, and subtle floral notes, all housed in a beautifully designed amphora-inspired bottle.
- The nose offers aromas of dried fruit, such as raisin and apricot, paired with hints of honey and warm spice.
- On the palate, you'll experience a balanced blend of rich, fruity flavours with a touch of vanilla, light oak, and a warm, slightly floral finish.
- The finish is smooth and lingering. Enjoy a gentle warmth leaving subtle notes of dried fruit, honey, and a hint of spice. Making for a refined and elegant end to the tasting experience.
A great pairing would be Greek mezze such as grilled lamb skewers, tzatziki, and olives. The rich, fruity notes of the brandy complement the savoury, herby flavours of the mezze, creating a perfect balance of taste highlighting both the drink and food.
