American IPA
ABV 6.5% IBU 55
This American IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from resinous pine to juicy stone fruit. With large hop additions in both the whirlpool and the fermenter, we extract all that is good from the hop cone while keeping the bitterness balanced with a supportive malt bill. The malted wheat provides a smooth full-bodied mouth feel while the addition of torrefied oats makes it velvety smooth, engulfing you in a succulent hop wave and gliding your tastebuds to a tantalizing dry finish.
The American IPA has dominated and propelled the craft beer renaissance into what it is today. Though the British invented the hop-centric India pale ale in the 18th century, the IPAs we know and love today were born in the 1990s, as American brewers turned-up the bitterness, alcohol, and hop flavor, pushing the envelope on just how much glory one can extract from the munificent hop cone.
Key Ingredients: Wheat malt, Oats, Citra Hops, Mosaic Hops, Amarillo Hops
