J.P. Wiser’s 10 Year Old NHL Edition combines the brand’s 10-year-old Canadian whisky with special NHL-themed packaging. The whisky is a blend of corn and rye aged for 10 years in three different types of casks: new white oak, once-used American bourbon barrels and seasoned Canadian whisky casks. The NHL edition features hockey-inspired artwork while retaining the standard 10 Year Old whisky inside.
Food Pairing: Pairs well with grilled steak, barbecue, roasted pork, aged cheddar, toasted nuts, apple pie and caramel desserts.
Tasting Notes: Rich caramel, honeycomb toffee and vanilla with dried fruit, rye spice, green apple and pear.
Nose: Caramel, honeycomb toffee, vanilla and dried fruit with subtle green apple, pear and rye spice.
Palate: Roasted rye spice balanced by honeycomb toffee, vanilla, caramel and oak sweetness.
Finish: Smooth and lingering with green apple, pear, dried fruit and allspice.
Serve: Enjoy neat, on the rocks or in a Canadian Whisky Old Fashioned.
