Rendezvous Rye is High West's flagship whiskey, now available as a seasonal and limited release that has evolved to include more of our own coveted High West pot still rye! Collect each year’s release to taste through the aromatic and flavor nuances that they will leverage year to year to bring you an unparalleled quality product! Almost every other straight rye whiskey you can buy today is barely legal, with 51-53% rye in the mash bill. Not Rendezvous Rye. It honors the way rye whiskey used to be made, with a high rye content and full, uncompromised flavor. With Rendezvous Rye, you get a taste of authentic rye whiskey.
The nose has notes of poached pear, bitter orange, ground ginger, lavender, wet sandalwood, and tanned leather on a well-used wooden workbench. The palate reveals flavours of persimmon, dried apricot, snickerdoodle, ginger chews, walnut sauce, and spiced caramels in a cedar gift box.
