Frutteto means orchard in Italian, as each jar captures the sun-kissed taste of fruit grown under the Mediterranean sun. Made with fragrant, fully ripe apricots from Romagna, this spread celebrates the pure, golden flavour of Italy’s finest fruit.Every spoonful of Frutteto tastes so fresh because it takes twice as much fruit to make a jar as other conserves and spreads. 100g of whole apricots are gently cooked to make 100g of Frutteto, at low temperature to help preserve the goodness and the delicate sweetness of the apricots, without adding refined sugar or artificial sweeteners.Frutteto also provides a natural source of fibre. By using whole fruit rather than pre-processed purée, the nutrients and fibre remain captured in the spread.Handmade in small batches to preserve texture, colour and aroma, Frutteto Apricot is a Great Taste Award-winner for being "Evocative of homemade-style cooking, the real fruit freshness of this product is delicious."Bring a little Mediterranean sunshine to your breakfast table. Whether you’re savouring Frutteto by the spoonful, on warm toast or swirling it into porridge, this is breakfast transformed into a moment of pure pleasure.
