Privada Storytelling
W.A. French Bulletin is the final chapter in a ten part cigar series inspired by the unmistakable visual language and storytelling of Wes Anderson. This release pays tribute to The French Dispatch, blending cinematic charm with serious tobacco craftsmanship. As the closing act of the series, French Bulletin was designed to be the most layered and complete expression yet.
Blended by AJ Fernandez and aged for over two years before release, this cigar reflects patience and intention. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper sourced from the legendary Turrent family brings depth and structure, while AJ’s Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Condega provide balance, warmth, and complexity. Every draw feels deliberate, evolving slowly and rewarding attention.
This is not just another installment. It is a finale. A cigar built to leave a lasting impression and close the series on its strongest note.
Flavor Journey
The cigar opens with dark cocoa and roasted earth, immediately setting a rich and warming tone. As it develops, espresso and layered spice emerge, supported by the natural sweetness of well aged San Andrés. Midway through, the profile becomes deeper and more integrated, with AJ’s signature balance keeping the strength in check. The final third delivers a satisfying finish of bold flavor and lingering warmth.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because Privada values intention, storytelling, and cigars that mean something beyond the blend. W.A. French Bulletin represents the culmination of a creative journey, bringing together cinema, aging, and expert blending into one cohesive experience. It is thoughtful, complex, and built to be remembered.
