Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina
Filler: Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium+
Victorian isn't a "Maduro," it uses a high priming Habano wrapper for a more full-bodied, unique, and flavorful experience. An absolute must-try for any Habano or Foundation fan.
The Highclere Castle Victorian by Foundation Cigars is a rich, full-bodied cigar inspired by the elegance and grandeur of 19th-century England. Created in collaboration with the historic Highclere Castle, the iconic English estate featured in Downton Abbey, this cigar pays tribute to the cigars enjoyed by British aristocracy during Queen Victoria’s reign.
Expertly blended by Nicholas Melillo, the Victorian features a dark, oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and aged Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. The result is a robust yet refined smoke that delivers complex layers of dark chocolate, red pepper, leather, earth, and sweet floral undertones.
The Corona vitola earned a hearty 90 point rating from Cigar Aficionado.
