The Fonseca Edition MX Cedros brings a darker, richer character to one of the cigar industry's most historic names. Now produced by My Father Cigars in Nicaragua, the Edition MX combines Fonseca's long-standing heritage with the bold blending style that has made My Father one of the most recognizable names in premium cigars.
After acquiring the Fonseca brand in 2019, My Father Cigars breathed new life into the historic label with production at its Nicaraguan factory. The Fonseca Edition MX became the second release in the revitalized Fonseca portfolio, offering a fuller and more robust interpretation of the brand.
At the heart of the Fonseca Edition MX Cedros is a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos, finished with a dark and flavorful Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper. The combination creates a hearty medium-to-full-bodied cigar with plenty of richness and complexity.
Expect prominent notes of earth and spice up front, followed by deeper flavors and a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. The San Andrés wrapper adds richness to the Nicaraguan core while maintaining the balance and construction cigar smokers have come to expect from My Father Cigars.
For fans of Mexican San Andrés cigars, Nicaraguan tobacco, and medium-to-full-bodied Maduro blends, the Fonseca Edition MX Cedros is a worthy addition to the My Father portfolio and a modern continuation of the historic Fonseca name.
The Fonseca Edition MX Cedros is an excellent choice for smokers looking for a rich Maduro cigar that combines Mexican San Andrés character, Nicaraguan tobacco, and the blending expertise of My Father Cigars.
