Introduction:
Elephant Island Pear is a beautifully crafted fruit wine from British Columbia’s Naramata Bench, made entirely from locally grown pears. Delicately balanced and naturally expressive, it captures the fresh, aromatic character of the fruit while delivering a crisp and elegant finish.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fragrant aromas of ripe pear, honey, and floral notes with a hint of citrus zest.
Palate: Light and refreshing with flavors of juicy pear, green apple, and a touch of spice, supported by bright acidity.
Finish: Clean, crisp, and subtly sweet with lingering pear and floral tones.
Pairings:
Excellent served chilled with seafood, fresh salads, or mild cheeses. It also pairs wonderfully with light desserts such as fruit tarts, sorbet, or vanilla panna cotta.
