Door County Coffee Cinnamon Hazelnut is a medium-roast, 100% Arabica flavored ground coffee in a 10 oz bag that blends warm cinnamon and toasty hazelnut notes for a smooth, ready-to-brew cup.
Crafted by a family-owned roastery in Door County, Wisconsin, this flavored ground coffee uses Specialty Class 1 Arabica beans roasted in a hot air fluidized bed for consistent color and flavor. The 10 oz bag yields roughly seven standard drip-brewed pots, and the grind is prepared to perform well across drip machines, French press, and cold brew methods. With zero sugar, dairy, fat, or carbs per 6 oz serving, it fits many dietary preferences while delivering a dessert-style aroma without added calories.
How does the cinnamon hazelnut flavor taste in a medium roast?
The flavor profile pairs the natural sweetness and roundness of medium-roasted Arabica with pronounced cinnamon spice and nutty hazelnut accents. Roasting at a medium level preserves origin character while letting the added flavors sing through without overpowering the coffee base.
- Warm cinnamon adds a subtly spicy, bakery-like finish.
- Hazelnut brings a toasted, creamy-nut backbone to each sip.
- Medium roast maintains balanced acidity and body for everyday drinking.
Will this ground coffee work in my brewing method?
Yes—this product is ground to a versatile consistency engineered for multiple brewing styles. It performs well in standard drip brewers, and it’s suitable for coarser methods like French press or finer extraction methods when you adjust brew time and ratio.
- Ideal for automatic drip coffee makers right out of the bag.
- Adjust steep times for French press to increase body and intensity.
- Use cold-brew ratios and extended extraction for smooth, chilled flavor.
What makes Door County Coffee’s roasting method different?
Door County Coffee uses hot air, fluidized bed roasters that suspend beans in moving hot air to ensure uniform heat exposure and consistent roast color. This technique reduces uneven charring and allows the roaster to highlight the bean’s natural qualities alongside the added flavors.
- Air-roasted beans circulate for even, repeatable roasts.
- Smaller batch control from a family-owned roastery ensures attention to detail.
- Specialty Class 1 Arabica beans (top 2% globally) are the base for clean cup clarity.
How much coffee do I get and how many pots will it make?
The 10 oz bag contains enough ground coffee to brew about seven typical 12-cup drip pot batches, depending on personal strength preferences and scoop sizes. It’s packaged for home use and geared toward regular drinkers who enjoy flavored gourmet coffee without added sugars.
- Approximately seven standard drip coffee pots per 10 oz bag.
- Zero grams sugar, fat, and carbs per 6 oz serving—suitable for keto and low-carb diets.
- Ready-to-brew grind saves time and simplifies daily preparation.
