Silver Tequila, also known as Tequila Blanco or Plata, is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, carefully grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, in the region called Los Altos. It is double distilled to achieve a smooth and refined taste. Because it is unaged or only briefly rested, it has a clear, transparent color with a slight silver shine. Each 750ml bottle is poured at 40% alcohol by volume, or 80 proof.
On the nose, it offers aromas of cooked agave with delicate floral and herbal notes, along with subtle hints of vanilla or black pepper. When sipped, it delivers a clean and smooth taste featuring flavors of agave, herbs, flowers, citrus, and occasionally a light touch of woodiness or minerals. The finish is refreshing and smooth, often leaving a warm or slightly spicy sensation.
This Silver Tequila is easy to enjoy however you like it: sipped neat, poured over ice, or used as the base for classic cocktails like Margaritas and Palomas. It comes in the brand's distinctive “Punta Diamante” bottle, whose faceted design is inspired by a diamond point. It is crafted by Casa Don Ramón, a respected tequila producer in Jalisco, Mexico.
