Don Julio Primavera is a limited spring release from Don Julio. It first came out in summer 2021 and returned for spring 2022, when 26,000 cases were made. Primavera means spring in Spanish, and the tequila fits the name. Bright citrus sits on top of a smooth agave base. This bottle comes without its gift box, so it's ready to pour or to fill a gap in your collection.
Primavera starts life as Don Julio Reposado. It then gets an extra rest in European casks that once held wine infused with macerated orange peel. That finish gives the tequila its soft orange glow and its citrus character. It's bottled at 40% ABV. If you usually reach for añejo, you'll find this lighter and fresher, with less oak in the way.
