This robust añejo completely shatters expectations of what a genuinely matured agave spirit should deliver. Bottled at 80 proof, Don Fulano Añejo showcases an unadulterated, additive-free expression crafted entirely from estate-grown Blue Weber agave cultivated in the Jalisco highlands. The Fonseca family meticulously oversees every pivotal step at La Tequileña, NOM 1146. They fiercely guard its authenticity. Double-distilled in copper pots, the liquid slumbers quietly in French Limousin oak casks for a minimum of 30 months. These seasoned barrels weave immense complexity into the spirit without ever burying its vibrant agricultural terroir. This tequila is breathtakingly precise.
True purity remains undeniably rare in modern agave production. You immediately encounter an exceptionally layered profile where natural sweetness wrestles dynamically with the profound, undeniable influence of rich European oak. The highland agave shines brilliantly. This beautiful liquid fiercely rejects the heavy vanilla tampering that plagues lesser bottles, demanding your attention through sheer craftsmanship and raw pedigree. Its resulting texture possesses a luxurious, velvety warmth that coats your mouth completely. Honestly, it simply commands respect.
