A thoughtful, grounded Sangiovese that feels shaped by its landscape—restrained, refined, and quietly confident.
Appearance
Medium ruby with a gentle garnet rim beginning to form. Clear and inviting, like a doorway left open on a warm Tuscan evening.
Aroma
Red cherry and dried strawberry lead the way, supported by dried rose, a touch of orange peel, and hints of bay leaf. Underneath lies soft leather, warm terra cotta, and a fine trace of cedar. Nothing shouts; everything feels well-settled.
Palate
Medium-bodied with bright, steady acidity. The fruit is red-toned—cherry, raspberry, a bit of cranberry—woven with savoury herb notes and a whisper of tea leaf. Tannins are firm but polished, the kind that ask for food but don’t demand a fight. A subtle mineral line runs through the centre. The finish lingers with dried flowers and a gentle, earthy warmth.
Overall Impression
A graceful, traditionally minded Chianti Classico Riserva showing maturity and poise. It’s the sort of wine that doesn’t need to impress you with flash; it simply performs with quiet excellence.
