The beauty of the terroir of California is that the entire state is near-perfect for grape growing. There are slopes and hillsides that receive morning shade and afternoon sun, giving fruit just the right amount of ripening time. Valley floors get socked in with fog and allow fruit an opportunity to develop highly concentrated flavors. And the hot, dry growing spots up and down the state are sublime for varietals that can thrive in the heat. Of all the varietals that are planted within the regions in California, Sauvignon Blanc is the most adaptable of them all. This wine is a beautiful representation of the unique but consistent style that is created year after year. White flower aromas, tropical and melon flavors, and the signature light and bright acidity all meld together and make your mouth water for another glass. Excellent for drinking during summer months, this is a perfect wine to sip while dining al fresco.
