The Dalmore 18 Year Old is an exceptional Highland single malt Scotch whisky that exemplifies the pinnacle of the distillery's maturation expertise. This distinguished expression is matured for 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks for an additional four years, creating a whisky of remarkable depth and sophistication.
On the nose, experience rich aromas of dark chocolate, orange zest, and vanilla, interwoven with hints of coffee, cinnamon, and dried fruits. The palate delivers an opulent, velvety experience with layers of sweet sherry, candied citrus peel, toffee, and warm spices, balanced by subtle oak and a touch of nuttiness. The finish is exceptionally long and luxurious, with lingering notes of chocolate, orange, and gentle spice.
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to unlock its full complexity, The Dalmore 18 Year Old is a superb choice for discerning whisky connoisseurs seeking the refined elegance, rich heritage, and masterful craftsmanship that has made Dalmore one of Scotland's most celebrated distilleries.
