Introduction
Coors Original, famously known as the "Banquet Beer," has been a staple of American brewing since 1873. Founded by Adolph Coors in Golden, Colorado, it earned its nickname from the thirsty miners who held celebratory banquets with the brew in the late 1800s. For decades, it was a rare find outside of the West, building a cult following that included presidents and movie stars before achieving nationwide distribution. To this day, it remains true to its heritage, utilizing the same high-country barley and Rocky Mountain water sources that defined its original recipe.
Beer Description
This classic North American lager is a brilliant, clear golden color with an effervescent body and a thin, bright white head.
Aroma: It features an inviting nose of freshly baked bread and toasted malt, with subtle, understated hints of banana and pear.
Palate: The flavor profile is well-balanced and sessionable, offering a satisfying malty refreshment with a touch of corn-like sweetness. It is characterized by its signature "Mile High" crispness and a smooth, clean finish.
