A golden sun-kissed hue, this wine opens with scents of fresh, delicate fruits – apricot, pear, green apple, citrus and a hint of peach. The combination of clean, bright aromas carries over to the palate, which features vibrant, natural acidity on entry. A light viscosity adds texture, filling the mouth with voluptuous yet subtle fruit flavours. The finish offers a distinct lemon/lime character that playfully balances between lush and crisp, inviting the discovery of different dimensions with every sip.
92 Points - Natalie MacLean
Conundrum is a terrific California white crafted by Charles F. Wagner. This off-dry blend of five grapes, including Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Muscat Canelli, is a heady mix of ripe peach, melon, tropical fruit, and a bright citrus lift. Silky and fragrant, it’s both easygoing and quietly complex. First created in 1989, it’s only grown more popular, with fruit sourced from prime vineyard pockets across Napa Valley to Santa Barbara County.
