Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve is a non-vintage Champagne built around depth, precision, and the house’s long cellar-aging tradition. Founded in Reims in 1851, Charles Heidsieck blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier from selected Champagne crus. A substantial proportion of mature reserve wines brings added breadth to the cuvée.
The profile combines freshly baked brioche, roasted coffee, and sun-ripened fruit. Plum, cherry, apricot, and pear sit alongside toasted nuts, vanilla, and praline, while fine bubbles and bright acidity keep the texture energetic. The palate is creamy and generous, leading into a long, chalky finish with lingering pastry and mineral notes.
Serve it well chilled in a tulip-shaped glass as an aperitif or alongside oysters, shellfish, roast poultry, creamy cheeses, or savory pastry. Its balance of fruit, toast, and freshness also suits celebratory toasts and multi-course meals. The non-vintage format expresses the established house style rather than a single harvest. This listing is for one 750 mL bottle at 12% ABV.
