The Cavalier Genève BII Viso Jalapa Fat Robusto is a soft box-pressed 5" × 54 cigar handcrafted in Danlí, Honduras, showcasing a distinctive Nicaraguan Viso wrapper grown in the Jalapa region. Beneath it are Nicaraguan Habano binder and filler tobaccos, creating a rich, medium-to-full-bodied cigar with plenty of depth and complexity.
The profile is toasty and layered, with roasted walnut, dark cocoa, coffee, cedar and leather joined by sweet wood, raisin and touches of baking spice. As it develops, creamier and sweeter notes emerge alongside earth and pepper, giving the cigar a long, satisfying finish.
Fog & Flame Notes: Cavalier Genève has become known for doing things a little differently, and the BII Viso Jalapa is a great example. The star here is the wrapper—a viso leaf from Nicaragua's renowned Jalapa growing region, originally developed as Cavalier's first use of viso tobacco as a wrapper. And then there's Cavalier's unmistakable finishing touch: the small diamond of genuine 24-karat gold leaf applied directly to the cigar. Yes, you smoke right through it. A beautifully presented cigar with an unusual wrapper, serious flavour and a 90-point pedigree.
