Mexico City’s main square, better known to residents as the Zocalo, is the heartbeat of the city’s cultural and artistic scene. So, the folks at CAO created the CAO Zocalo as a tribute to the invigorating Zocalo spirit. The smooth, richly flavored, and balanced cigars deliver an unforgettable, easy-to-enjoy festival of flavor.
To create the 5” x 52 CAO Zocalo Robusto, the CAO team used Nicaraguan tobaccos for the filler, which are known for their richness, and a Cameroon binder that yields smooth flavor. In addition, a chocolaty Mexican San Andres Morrón wrapper leaf, a first for a CAO cigar, adds balance, complexity, and a touch of sweetness to the tantalizing smoke.
The Zocalo Robusto offers savory pecan, chocolate-covered cherry, cedar, oak, orange zest and pepper flavors, which come together for a pleasing medium-plus excursion. A rich earthiness runs throughout the journey and is at the core of a harmonious, long-lasting finish.
The CAO Zocalo Robusto is ideal for cigar lovers searching for big taste with a smooth yet festive spirit. Create your own Zocalo celebration by pairing these tasty smokes with rum or tequila as you soak up the sweet sounds of the mariachi.
