Crafted from 100% Islay-grown barley, Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 is a testament to the distillery’s unwavering commitment to provenance and purity. Distilled in 2013 and matured exclusively on the remote Hebridean island of Islay, this unpeated single malt celebrates the rugged beauty and distinct character of its origin.
Bottled at 50% ABV, this whisky is non-chill filtered and free from artificial coloring, preserving its natural complexity. On the nose, expect bright citrus, creamy vanilla, and soft malted barley notes, complemented by floral undertones and a hint of sea breeze. The palate is elegant and well-structured, delivering layers of honeyed grain, ripe orchard fruits, and subtle spice, with a long, clean finish that lingers with a touch of oak and minerality.
Every drop captures the essence of Islay’s landscape—its soil, sea air, and climate—making this expression a true farm-to-bottle masterpiece.
