Privada Storytelling
The Asylum PCA 2023 Exclusive is no accident. It’s a declaration—crafted to prove that Honduras still knows how to punch. Released only at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association trade show, this limited-production blend taps into the wild, raw, and honest character that made Asylum famous in the first place.
This isn’t a gimmick. It’s not just a trade show box. It’s a statement cigar built on pure Corojo intensity and the untamed personality of small-batch Honduran leaf. In your hand, it feels like a weapon. On your palate, it’s all business: spice, wood, punch, and fire, with a subtle charm beneath the strength.
Flavor Journey
Right off the light, bold earthy spice and raw cocoa take center stage. The retrohale brings a jolt of black coffee and red chili flake, balanced by toasted cedar. As the first third develops, roasted cashew and herbal undertones begin to appear. The middle section smooths slightly, introducing charred cinnamon and a subtle mineral character. In the final third, strength returns with dried peppercorn, heavy wood, and a leathery finish—long and deeply satisfying.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because Asylum PCA 2023 Exclusive embodies what Privada members live for: access. This was never meant to hit the public in wide release. It’s a trade-only ghost that most smokers will never touch. And yet here it is—available only through the backchannels Privada knows how to navigate. It's full-bodied, full-throttle, and proudly unapologetic. We bring cigars like this into the fold because we know you’re not here for the ordinary—you’re here for what others can’t find.
