The Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Hooligan is a standout limited-edition release that blends eye-catching design with refined flavor. Expertly hand-rolled in Honduras at Plasencia’s Tabacos de Oriente S.A. factory, this cigar has become a highly anticipated annual favorite since its debut in 2013.
Featuring a striking barber pole wrapper of vibrant Honduran Candela intertwined with dark Nicaraguan Jalapa leaf, the Filthy Hooligan is as visually unique as it is flavorful. Beneath the wrapper lies an Ecuador Sumatra binder and a blend of Honduran and Panamanian long-fillers, creating a smooth, medium-bodied profile with excellent balance.
On the palate, expect a refreshing interplay of cream, earth, mild sweetness, and coffee, accented by subtle pepper and spice. The Candela adds a bright, grassy sweetness that complements the richer Jalapa wrapper, resulting in a complex yet approachable smoke from start to finish.
Produced in strictly limited quantities and released annually just ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, the Filthy Hooligan has become a must-have for collectors and seasonal smokers alike. Whether you’re celebrating the holiday or simply looking for something unique, this cigar delivers craftsmanship, character, and tradition in every draw.
