Julio R. Eiroa changed the course of history for the Corojo leaf and the cigar industry when he successfully cultivated Cuban-seed Corojo tobacco in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. Today, Eiroa and his family keep the Corojo legacy alive with an expansive catalog of Corojo blends. The Aladino Cameroon Super Toro is a striking example that combines Corojo’s savory character with the Cameroon leaf’s unique refinement.
The Aladino Cameroon Super Toro is a classic 6” x 52 Honduran Puro constructed around a mixture of Authentic Corojo binder and filler tobaccos grown on Eiroa’s farms in Jamastran. A sophisticated Cameroon wrapper grown in Honduras with extra attention and care surrounds the blend. The cigars are handmade at the Eiroa family’s Fabrica de Puros Aladino factory in Los Lomas, Jamastran.
The Aladino Cameroon Super Toro settles into a richly textured, balanced, medium-plus character right from the start. Earthy and woody undertones set the stage, while the convergence of Corojo and Cameroon tobacco creates tidal waves of peppercorn, nut, and cream flavors. Sweetness livens up a complex, wondrously composed grand finale.
The Aladino Cameroon Super Toro is a modern-day cigar classic that will delight fans of the Corojo, and Cameroon leaves with a deliciously engaging, smooth character. A great option for toning down the classic Corojo experience or enjoy a Cameroon-wrapped cigar with a little something more.
